You can also open the mail window by clicking Window|Netscape Mail.

Setup Netscape Mail

Before you can use E-Mail, you have to setup Netscape's Mail program to work with the B.I.T.S service. Most likely, you've already done this in the Account Setup Wizard. To check your configuration settings, in Netscape click Options|Mail and News Preferences. Click on the Servers tab and the following window should appear.

The entries you need be most concerned about are:

SMTP Server, POP Server, POP user name (this is the same as your e-mail login). All of this information is on your configuration sheet in the beginning of this manual.

*Remember! Punctuation and spelling are critical! Make sure
everything is in lower case.

After you have checked the information in the Servers window. Click the Identity tab. Check your information in these boxes. The information below is an example of how your settings should look. You can get the information needed for your settings by looking at your configuration settings at the beginning of this book.
