Intensive facilitator training through Assisting Adolescent Development (AAD) for use in addressing:

Ą alcohol/drug issues

Ą violation of school policy concerning alcohol/drugs

Ą educational support groups for students

Ą student intervention and referral

Ą anger--violence--abuse--gang awareness

Ą grief issues

Ą blended families

Ą children of alcoholics/substance abusers

Ą recovery support

Establishing:

Ą a high risk curriculum

Ą youth networking groups

Ą activity groups: addressing school activity programs

Ą community, school board, administrative, and faculty support

CONTINUING SUPPORT FOR WORKING WITH:

Ą businesses

Ą community officials

Ą schools: boards of education, administration, staff, students, and patrons

CONSULTING SERVICES FOR:

Ą school activity/athletic programs

Ą community/school evaluation

Ą working with local law enforcement agencies and the courts

ASSISTING ADOLESCENT DEVELOPMENT WILL:

Ą recognize students who may be experiencing problems with a variety of social issues thus effecting their learning capability.

Ą assist students and their families with appropriate options to address these issues.

Ą refer students and their families to assistance within and outside of the school setting.
